Courelas
(1st
floor) |
|
Courelas or “small plots of land,”
is the name of a “neighborhood” in Fajã
Grande, consisting of two dozen houses
and barns strung along the alley of the
same name, onto which the bedroom window
opens. The wood comes from the wreck of
the Brilliant and is painted with oil
paint (1930), while the bathroom,
equipped with a shower and hair dryer,
features details in basalt stone. The
room is equipped with a shelved cabinet,
a mini-fridge/heater, a wardrobe, and a
desk; it differs from the Pátio room
only in that it is slightly smaller and
does not have direct access to the
backyard.
