The Patio bedroom is so named because it has direct access to the Argonauta patio by way of a stone staircase beyond a little hall which also gives access to the bathroom with basalt detailing. Cosy Patio bedroom, second best room in the hierarchy of the house, features a wardrobe, a sofa, a writing desk, a rocking chair and a built in cupboard with a 1929 frame. The bed size is cm.190×145.

Optic fibre’s cable reached Flores but arriving here in Fajã Grande by antennas, we can now offer a discrete free internet connection access to our guests through our dedicated WI-FI network. Sometime it is possible to have a slow connection due to low humid clouds.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We have really enjoyed our stay at the Argonauta. The walks along the west coast were spectacular. We particularly liked the bath we made to the beautiful lake with its waterfalls, and the reflection in the water. Flores was the second island on our trip to the Azores. Argonauta is a very interesting house, full of history including Stéfano’s additions of his own photographic pieces and memorabilia from his own travels around the world. Our walks included the north and south coastal walks; the latter a from favourite having considerably more coastal views. Apart from villagers at the beginning * end of each walk, we did not meet a single person along the way. A perfect location to recharge in isolation away from the usual tourist spots. Dopo 3 giorni a São Miguel siamo arrivati a Flores e oggi proseguiamo per l’ultima tappa del nostro viaggio: Pico. Le Azzorre sono isole bellissime, siamo stati tanto a contatto con la natura e abbiamo ammirato panorami unici. Il tempo è sempre stato un pò imprevedibile, ma tutto sommato di pioggia non ne abbiamo presa tanta. Cibo ottimo ovunque, in particolare da Johns’s e il polipo del ristorante Maresía sulla “spiaggia”! L’Argonauta è un posto speciale, arredamento, accoglienza e colazione unici. Un grazie particolare ai consigli di Stéfano e alle coccole di Alice e Omero, gatti bellissimi!! A Flores lascio un pezzettino di cuore. 29 Aprile, 2017
