The
Suite 2000 is the room which completed Argonauta's thorough
restoration and still expresses its spirit. It offers unique
features within its unusual one bedroom apartment layout: independent
access from the outside world by way of a stone staircase which
goes on to the common patio. The connection to the rest of the
house is near the Sitting Room, and the suite has a comfortable
double bed, a wardrobe, a sofa and a CD player, a writing-desk
and a table, a kitchenette with small stove/oven and kitchen
utensils, a cupboard, a sink and a fridge. 
The
guest can also enjoy a traditional bread oven with chimney and
wood, and an old fire iron which can be used as a fireplace.
With its large double bath (1.90 x 0.90m.) and a hair-dryer, the bathroom is a mark in local history, as it was the first bathroom in the village of Fajã Grande, originally built in 1929 by Lucindo de Freitas!
If you travel with children or have a small group, the Suite
2000 offers the possibility of accommodating a 3rd person in
an extra bed.
